Letting Go And The Importance

How often do you think about letting go? Maybe never. Maybe all the time. I often think about the movie Frozen and the song “Let It Go” which now has so much meaning. We live in a society  where no one let’s anything go that’s why people fight, sue each other and can’t move forward. Sometimes not letting go can lead to deadly and violent confrontations. What can be so easy to do, no one wants to do. When you don’t let go, you are unable to move forward or experience joy. Let’s look at what is happening now we have a new president who is the most disliked in the states and because of that some cannot let go. So because they cannot let go  they let the strong urge to right a wrong or what they perceive is wrong to take over. And that leads them to act out like climb cranes and violently protest. Some say they just need to get over it, but it’s more than that you have to be willing to say to yourself it’s not worth it and there are no benefits for me. Then and this maybe tough for some accept what is and that it has happened and move forward. Because when you don’t, you give that situation more energy and you make it more powerful than it really is. Letting go can free up huge amounts of energy and the time you have to use for something better and more fulfilling. The reason why I’m talking about this is because I at times find it hard to just let go but I know if I want peace and tranquility in my life than I have to let go and isn’t that what you want peace and tranquillity in your life. Although it’s not easy it can be life changing.

Some of us think holding on

Makes us strong, but sometimes it is letting go

Herman Hesse

Song: Let It Go

Let it go, let it go

Turn away and slam the door
