Cheesy Nacho’s, Sore Feet,Man Bun, And Winning Streak

Yesterday I was working the Caps vs Flyers game which was an early game that made it all the most awesome. As soon as I got there I was busy getting ready for the impending crowd. There was a mixture of Caps & Flyers fans so it made for  interesting interactions but I was glad to see no fights. Before the doors open I set up a bloody Mary bar which came with Caps collective cups. I then scooted down to the administration desk to give the guard the list of all the early bird customers. I returned to my hostess desk just as the doors was opening and in came the crowds. There was not a empty table in the entire PWC Club. The bar was flowing with drinks and there was no lack of customers.

The game was opened with the beautiful vocals of Caleb Green singing the national anthem. Afterwards player Niklas Backstrom received a golden stick for being the first player in franchise history and the 139th player in the NHL to reach 500 assist platueau and his fiancé and children were there to witness it. The game started slow and dull but got better. Before the end of the first period Caps player John Carlson left the game with a lower body injury & didn’t return . In the end Caps beat the Flyers 5-0.

Caps record 29-9-5 they have the most points in the NHL. This is the Caps 9th straight win.

Later that night as I was relaxing I began to skim through my instagram account and saw that Gina Carlson the wife of John Carlson shared with her followers an adorable video of their son Lucca aka Bull rocking his tiny #74 jersey (dad) & a tiny man bun. In the video Lucca is seen giggling and running and being lifted up by his dad John Carlson . I hope John gets better soon.

On Monday January 16th the Caps travel to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to play the Penguins at PPG Paints Arena
